IELTS Essay – Band 5.5
In many countries, schools are facing serious problems with students’ behaviour. This situation is becoming more common and it affects the learning environment. In my opinion, there are several reasons why this happens, and some solutions can be used to improve the situation.
One important cause is that many students do not receive enough attention and guidance from their families. Parents are often busy with work, so they cannot spend time teaching their children good manners or checking their daily habits. Another reason is the influence of social media and violent games. Many young people copy what they see online, and this leads to aggressive actions or disrespectful attitudes at school. In addition, some schools have weak discipline systems, so students are not afraid of breaking the rules.
To solve these problems, both families and schools need to work together. Parents should spend more time communicating with their children and teaching them how to behave properly. Schools should create clear rules and apply them fairly to all students. Teachers can also organize activities that help students develop teamwork, respect, and responsibility. Moreover, governments can control harmful online content to protect young people from negative influences.
In conclusion, bad behaviour in schools is caused by family issues, online influence, and weak discipline. With cooperation between parents, teachers, and authorities, student behaviour can be improved and schools can become safer places for learning.
