Hoi An Ancient Town Hoi An Ancient Town is (1) located in Viet Nam's central Quang Nam on the banks of the Thu Bon River. In 1999, the old town was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. As a well preserved example of Asian trading port dating from the 15th to 19th century, its (2) architecture mixture of local and foreign styles.
