My favorite festival is the Mid-Autumn Festival, which is celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month. It is a time for family reunion, moon watching, lantern making, and eating moon cakes. I love this festival because it reminds me of my childhood, when I used to play with colorful lanterns and enjoy the bright moonlight with my parents and siblings. The moon cakes are also delicious, especially the ones with lotus seed paste and egg yolk. The Mid-Autumn Festival is a beautiful and meaningful tradition that I always look forward to.
