One of the most memorable foods I have ever tasted is sushi. I tried it for the first time when my family visited a Japanese restaurant last summer. At first, I was a little nervous because I had never eaten raw fish before. However, after taking the first bite, I was surprised by its fresh and delicate flavor. The soft rice, fresh salmon, and a little wasabi created a unique taste that I really enjoyed. Although it was different from the food I usually eat, I found it delicious and interesting. This experience encouraged me to be more open to trying new dishes from different countries. Since then, sushi has become one of my favorite foods, and I hope to taste more Japanese dishes in the future.

Last year, during my wonderful vacation in South Korea, I had a chance to try a traditional dish called Samgyetang, or ginseng chicken soup. It was a hot summer day, and my tour guide recommended this dish to help beat the heat. When the waiter brought it out, the soup was still boiling in a black stone bowl. The dish consisted of a whole young chicken stuffed with sticky rice, garlic, jujubes, and a large ginseng root. The chicken meat was incredibly tender and easily fell off the bone. The broth had a rich, savory taste with a unique, pleasant herbal aroma from the ginseng. Eating a piping hot soup on a summer day was a strange but fantastic experience. This delicious meal not only energized me for the trip but also became my favorite Korean dish.
