muzik0710 Preparing for Tet is an exciting time for my family. A few weeks before Tet, we clean and decorate the house to make it fresh and beautiful. My mother buys flowers like apricot blossoms and marigolds, while my father prepares traditional foods such as bánh chưng. My siblings and I help by washing the dishes, sweeping the floor, and hanging red decorations. We also go shopping for new clothes and small gifts for relatives. Everyone works together happily. Preparing for Tet not only makes our home warm and bright but also brings my family closer and fills us with joy for the new year.

Preparing for Lunar New Year (Tet) is a significant and vibrant time in Vietnam. Families start by cleaning their homes to wash away bad luck and decorate with colorful flowers like peach or apricot blossoms and kumquat trees. People buy new clothes, traditional foods such as Banh Chung (sticky rice cake), and prepare candied fruits (mut). The atmosphere is full of excitement as everyone gathers for family dinners on New Year's Eve, exchanges wishes, gives lucky money (li xi), and visits relatives, hoping for happiness and prosperity in the coming year.
