Before the flood happens, don't forget to prepare an emergency kit. You should protect your valuables in waterproof containers and place them above potential water levels.
During the flood, you should stay inside a safe and high place. Follow the routes specified by officials .And time permitting, leave a note informing others when you left and where you went. After that, when the flood is gone, emergency workers will be assisting people in flooded areas. You can return home only when authorities indicate it is safe.

Not only causing material damage, floods also cause human and animal injuries due to drowning or injury due to flooding. Therefore, we must protect our houses and respond to flood risks.
