“Learning and education will change in some ways over the next thirty years. For one, we will see e-learning become more important. I think this will replace many university courses. I don’t think the education of young children will change all that much, however. Kids will still go to school, and they will still have teachers to help them learn. It’s possible we will see robot teaching assistants in classes, but I don’t think artificial intelligence will be able to replace our need for real people helping us.
For adults, though, there will be more opportunities for education through e-learning apps. These apps will improve greatly due to new devices that will be cheap, powerful, and convenient to use. I think the future will be better than the past, but we have to work hard to make that happen.”
Clare Fontaine, Author of Imagine The Future
“The future is already here! At OWG we’ve studied how the mind works for a long time. You’re going to have learning that is automatic and downloaded straight into your brain from the internet. We’re all going to use artificial intelligence instead of our own intelligence. Pretty soon we’re going to have a world where everyone’s thinking the same thoughts and saying the same things. We’re still working on some of the technology, but my prediction is that we’re going to see this happen very soon. I can’t wait!”
