*Writing:
Dear Mom,
I hope you are well. I’m writing to say thank you for everything you’ve done for me and for the useful life skills you taught me. Now that I’m at university, I realize how important those skills are.
First, thank you for teaching me how to cook. I really enjoy cooking now, and it helps me stay healthy and save money. You also taught me how to manage my time. That’s one of the most important things I’ve learned because it helps me finish my assignments on time and reduces my stress. Another helpful skill is cleaning and doing laundry. Because of you, I can take care of myself and keep my room clean and organized.
I appreciate everything you taught me. These skills make my independent life easier and better. I miss you a lot and I look forward to visiting home soon.
Love you always,
Mother's son.
