He said that he was a musician and he was used to being away from home. He,usually liked it a lot, but it had been hard this time because his wife gave birth to their second,child just before he left for a two-month tour of Europe.,As the flight continued, the German began to behave in ways which were not within the norms,of German culture. He gave personal information, which Germans rarely do with strangers, and,be asked about the American's wife and children and which part of America he was from -,again, not an accepted part of German culture. He did all this because he thought, as strange,as it seemed, that he had made a really good friend in a very short time, and he was pleased,about it.
